Karen has been employed as a legal secretary with Borgeson & Burns, P.C. since March 1999 and with Birch, Horton, Bittner & Cherot’s Fairbanks office since 1991. Most of her working career has been in the legal field beginning in 1988 in Ohio.
Karen assists in the following areas: estate planning, probate matters, real estate law, corporate law, probate law, and work for the local electric co-operative.
After moving from Ohio, she now resides in Fairbanks with her husband of 17 years, Bob, who is a scientist with an environmental consulting firm. Karen has two sons and four grandchildren.
